Never had leftovers from any fish fry at Ft KDM. Any fish not immediately consumed upon removal from the grease is fought over by the fish fry participants in the "Cold Fish Octagon" ie, the kitchen, like rabid, unrepentant gladiators clawing their way from the brink of starvation. A fish fry here is a "bring your own tupperware" type of gathering and the rules are well understood. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

I almost always make extra so I can have a fish sandwich for lunch the next day, or so. Technically, I haven't frozen it, but reheating in an air fryer or little pizza oven is great! It's almost always the best doggone fish sandwich I've ever had.

Beer batter?

Dry coated works pretty well, IMHO. But I can sure see where beer batter style fish wouldn't be as good the next day.

You mean make your own Fish Sticks?
Yes , catch ,clean and cook the whole batch at the time. Or at least cook a few meals worth and freeze. I like fish two or 3 times a week but not necessarily the mess that often. I have some frozen now so will see how they taste after they are re-heated. If nothing else Iv'e heard fish tacos are good.
