Its amazing how much bigger the seedlings get. Last year some of my white onions split the outside layer because they grew so fast. Some got bigger than a soft ball and were great for making onion rings. LBIf you want big onions, plant seedlings not sets/bulbs, thell start out smaller, but get much larger.

Ok...so I just learned to plant seedlings instead of sets for onions...now tell me the best way to get a big crop of Yukon Gold potatoes...and any other tips you guys have on other veggies!
