If the public were to demand less maybe. But we’re paying taxes and things still aren’t being kept up. It’s not a government problem. It’s an overall expectation of quality of life from society in general. Every government contract goes to a company who has employees that want to live well. And the costs all filter back to us. It’s that way with everything in America and we pay for it in everything we consume, drive upon, etc. It’s why we outsource to shit countries, so we can spend less and maintain the quality of life we want. Not trying to be a commie here but at some point in time we’ve got to acknowledge it. Top dollar expectations don’t work on a bottom dollar budget. SD just let a bid to reconstruct one interstate exit. 78 million dollars. I’m not saying it’s out of line, I’m saying shit is expensive. But we’re fools if we think taxes will decrease when society expects more every day.
