Can't complain about this year, only really had one tough outing. If I got to see 3-4 more weeks I would be ok with it. With warm weather comes construction season which means this guy's fishing becomes limited. But maybe this year will be different

I've been ready to get the boat out of the garage since I brought it home with the new motor on it in December! Me and open water didn't part on good terms last fall so I'm seeking revenge!

Boats ready in about an hour every spring. Detailed before winter sets in. Just a matter of installing batteries and putting graphs and tackle box in. Still hanging in for more ice time. There's I pig to be had.

I got about a half days worth of rigging to do on the new boat, and about a half days worth of cleaning and waxing on the old one so she's ready to sell. the old one is in the shop now waiting to be cleaned up... thats tomorrows project.... as for ice fishing, college and work had other plans for me this winter.... was only able to get out and chase yotes 2 times this year... was a crappy winter.

Heading up to LothW next weekend, but pretty much done after that.

Just picking up my first new-ish boat today, a 2013 Alumacraft Trophy 185 with less than 30hrs on it. Have to say I'm pretty excited to get that out, and will probably be making a trip up to rainy river for the early season.

My new boat has been at the dealer since the end of last season getting a new paint job on the gunnels and transom. Bought out of white bear lake as the crestliner dealership there beat Bismarck by quite a bit. Its all done and ready to be picked up......I'm thinking 2 more weeks, the ice gear will be put away, and time for a road trip to pick up the "new" boat again.

toying around with swapping props on my verado 300. I'm pushing 59mph or so....quite fast dont get get wrong, seems sluggish, and slow out of the hole. Came with a 19 pitch prop. I see others with a 21 pitch......might have to do a few test runs, record some data, swap props with a buddy who has a 21 pitch and do the same tests/compare results. Anyone have any input on a Crestliner Sportfish 2150 SST with a 300 verado and 15 prokicker? I haven't seen any others on the water last year.

Ice fishing was fun, but I like running around in the boat. So I am looking forward to getting the ole gal wet a little bit this weekend.

I get back from Vegas tomorrow and I hope the ice is still good. I've been wanting to go for the past 3 days.
