1 liter of hard liquor or a 24 of beer per person of age.You can bring booze across, right? Just a limited amount?
They go back to 10 years so unless he lies or has a waiver from the Queen he is not getting through.Anybody went to Canada recently with a DWI? Planning a trip up and a friend had a DWI back in 2017, wondering if he will get thru or what he needs to do to not have any issues at the border.
They seem to be going back even farther. Last summer I hit the border with a friend that had one 12-13 years ago. NOPE. We had to turn around. They go back to 10 years so unless he lies or has a waiver from the Queen he is not getting through.
This from experience.
In the 90's I was turned around and it was over 10 years also. But I could have got in had I paid them. It was around $500 or so then. And you'd have to pay that every time unless you applied for a lifetime pass that was even more. So like I said earlier, if you want in, just bring a bunch of cash. They seem to be going back even farther. Last summer I hit the border with a friend that had one 12-13 years ago. NOPE. We had to turn around.
no.Is there a way to get the state DMV to expunge the ticket? I thought I heard of a guy getting that to work as I know after a DUI he was on several fishing trips to Canada.
