Hey I fished one of the coulee ponds today and got a nice northern I cooked up, I fished the first pond that has the fishing access but its a hike since they dont maintain the road. I heard the farther ponds are better fishing any of yall know if they are much better? It would be a considerable hike through the snow with a sled and I'm not sure if I want to get there and get skunked. Any other spots in grand forks anybody would reccomend for walleye or northern? Larimore is close but is the red decent for eyes? Thanks Guys!

Location
Lincoln, kinda...
There are small pools in the English (not Grand Forks) Coulee near the Red that hold sauger during some months of the year. They are literally right in town. Google Earth here would be your friend in locating them.
