The landscaping companies screw a guy big time. You are much better of getting materials from the construction companies, Knife River, Strata etc.

I always looking to save a buck too, but I wouldn't call an upfront price on rock a screw job, but know exactly what you are getting at.
I paid full retail on an ABC seamless siding job a few years back, then found out my sister paid half on the same sized house...

Maybe screw-job wasn't the correct term..how about price gouge . I think a lot of people never think to call the construction companies and just go to the landscaping companies. Once you start calling around, the price differences can be crazy.
