We should not even be allowing wind farms to be built here in this state. Protect the industries we have that provide shit piles of good paying jobs. Oil/coal. Why let another industry in that provides very little jobs and directly competes with the ones that provide shit piles of high paying jobs/careers. And especially one that is only existing due to tax payer subsidies.
I have a couple friends who help put up towers, one makes north of $100k/year. I consider that a damn good wage as well

there are very few jobs associated with the wind turbine industry in comparison.

Wind farms are a joke. The cost more to build and erect than they can produce in electricity. Without the massive government subsidies they fall flat on their face and are useless piles of steel. Private companies who have tried them to produce electricity to run a private power grid have proven over and over again they are unreliable and very costly.

Supposedly the green industry creates more jobs than the fossil fuel industry. But I get these facts from radical left publications so who knows how reliable. I can tell you many of the materials and pets used in green energy are sourced from overseas because we can’t compete. To me it sounds like a lose lose for us no matter what.

Supposedly wind power is the cheapest in the current electric market and many farms are still being built without the subsidies. Doesn’t take into account all of the expensive scrubbing systems coal has been forced to install. Even gas powered plants are under attack even though they are needed as a peaking plant when wind is not producing

Coal is 4 cents per kilowatt hour verses wind at 26 cents. Natural gas is somewhere in the middle factoring building pipelines.

I believe I have written about this before. Puget Sound Energy services Seattle. They were hydro electric for years but needed more so back in the 70's they built 2 of the 4 generating stations at Coal Strip Montana. Pacific Lighting servicing Portland Oregon built the other two. Puget Sound Energy is now building wind turbines in Montana and a large pipeline gas from British Columbia. I believe they have moth balled the two they own at Coal Strip.

Seattle people are going to get a rate hike and love it because they are saving the world from dirty coal. Gee, I wonder where they got that idea embedded in their minds?

If you ever want to turn your brain to mush start crunching the numbers on wind power as a Global player. Problem they run into is that the global demand for electricity goes up by an average rate of two to two and a half percent per year. To cover that increase you would need depending on who you listen to between two and three hundred thousand wind towers which is equivalent to the number of Towers we have ever put up ever freaking ever ever. Or visually it would cover an area about the size of great Britain with 3 towers per section and within 50 years would cover an area approaching the size of Russia and that doesn't take into account the principal value of electricity the world uses each year just the 2% increase! so you pretty quickly figure out wind power ain't going to douche it....that was supposed to say do shit but I kinda like that particular auto correct.

Have one stand next to canada border.

They flew helecopters to patrol at tree highest. For a while they used blackhawks. Could heard they miles away coming. Again at tree height and after tree at ground height. Rancher had cattle outside of fence and into canada. When that chopper game i watch those cows now only come home but right through the north fence and then south through the south fence.

Usually was a white helecopoter which was a lot less noise. I am less than 1/2 mile away from border. Came south to my stand so i greed them with my finger as they got within 50 yards of me. They then few to my back side and stop and i again greed them. Appear they were going to land so i said to myself, "self this will get interesting" but they went back north. Before they got to the border i had four bucks walk up to me.

Used to use a plane that would circle me. So if I was by my van would open the back door so they could see my license plate and then I would moon them. Makes for good memories.

They told me once they not only knew which way the atv was going across the line but what time it went. I was impress and said so to them.

Had camera north of me on line. Got ass chew on for screwing around with there camera and then chew for telling other people where there camera was. Told them if they paid the people who lived on the border they would spent less monies and know a lot more of what was going on.

But do not see them any more as I guess they got a something in outer space watching so now and then on a clear day I still greed them with my hand. db

I sandwich whiskey and toast between crank baits. Allen wrenches crocs hammer blacklight tape broken-knife eye guard. Bin pillows old hanging ties while the wind whistles and my dogs nails click.

Old honey-stained chalkboards smile and laugh at Poh-bear.

$1.41 per cow calf. That's not per acre. That can range from 15 acres to 100 acres and more for $1.41. See if you can get private land for that price. The gov should charge the county average. If not oh well, but don't tell us grain farmers get a break, but ranchers don't.

There is no rhyme or reason to Govt. Programs , They under charge , Over charge , Under regulate and over regulate, All in the sams stroke of the pen. I get a kick out of ranching/farming/property owning debates VS the high dollar Govt. Salamander study, Two Peas from the same pod from the same garden but all the fruit or practice is toxic in one way or the other to each other. I truly believe more federal and state government should be handed down to the county level and develop our country as a whole.

To quote Edgar Watson Howe, "I express many absurd opinions. But I am not the first man to do it. American freedom consists largely in talking nonsense."

Bright yellow shirts earn an upgrade if you're dealing with a man who drinks Rum and Boom while he drives down the left side of the road while the abundant police smile and wave.
