Empty a clip into them? If I did that with my Glock 19 and 33 rounds they would not be able to tell if it was human or big foot.

During the classroom sessions for both my last ND CCW (taught by a Chief of Police) and my current MN CCW, we were told that even if a court determines the shooting was justified, we would be spending around $50,000 in legal defense costs. Our liability insurance may not cover that expense.
My flat screen TV was bought for around $600, and I don't even own a vehicle worth $50,000. I won't be shooting anyone that isn't threatening my life or health.

Then to top this off you leave yourself open to a civil trial. Once again having to prove your innocence and that you were justified in the shooting.

It amazes me that no names or details have been released by the Rolette Cty sheriff's dept nor county states attny on the fatal 1/22/2017 home invasion shooting just outside Rolla. Must be some "special circumstances" involved.
