Had a coyote right of my deck a bit a ago. Dog took off after him in the darkness and heard a bunch of yelping figured i was going to have a big vet bill but dog came back un hurt. The yote then sat out there and yipped. It is time for suppressed thermal killing with the new ar my wife won
Yep, take the bastard down. Good way to break the weapon in (jealous)

I got my new Banish 30 suppressor from Silencer Central last week. I really thought it would be more quiet than what it is. I tried 300 Blackout in my 10.5 inch barrel and 16 inch barrel and you still need ear protection. I was shooting 110 gr Sierra and are really loud. Then switched over to SubSonic rounds I had loaded up with 200 Sierra HP and it's amazing how quiet it is. You could get away with shooting it in town with a little wind. The 223 with 16 barrel are pretty quiet. I'm sure in a bolt action they will be real quiet. I don't have a threaded bolt rifle right now so working on getting that done in the next month or so.

The Banish 30 is not the quietest can on the market, but it's pretty solid. It's hard to do much with that supersonic "crack", especially from a short barrel. Subs are a lot of fun. A suppressed subsonic 22LR is stupid quiet.

have you tried the 62's. Curious on their performance.
What's the bbl length on the Ruger? I'm assuming by 62's you mean ELD-Vt. I'd think one should get those up around 3800+ if your bbl is 22" +.

No I got the 20in one. It's the grey splatter color. The green/bronze one has the '22. I guess I was thinking the 20 would be better suppressed if I ever do that.

The wife blasted one of them stinky butt sniffers off the dike in the backyard with her 12 ga. this winter during the first warm snap. All while a buddy and I were talking by the garage door. That ballsy fluck really needed to go. I was so proud of my Mrs. I could bust. Then I realized she could do the same to me so I made dinner and was real nice to her.

I'll bet you can still get the 62's to 3700+. VV555, SuperFormance, per the Hornady book shows 3850 from 24" bbl. I bet Ramshot Hunter would get you close too as it's similar burn rate and has given me great velocity in a bunch of stuff. Your 20" bbl is going to give up ~100-125fps vs. the 24" bbl used in the manual. Maybe less. My 22" 1:7 tracks very closely to the 24" on the Hornady 22 Creed page for 75's. They claim 3600fps from a 24" bbl w/47.7gn of R26. I'm @ 3650 w/47gn and quit right there.

Awesome vid. How are you liking 22 creed? I just ordered one of the ruger gen 2s.
So I must be missing something. You ordered a Factory Ruger American Gen 2 Standard in 22 Creed correct? I don't see a 22 creed listed in available options on Rugers website and thought that the only "factory rifle" option was basically Horizon

I just purchased a Shilen barrel 1 - 7 twist and 27 inches long. In a Remington varmint contour and going to have a 22 Creedmoor put together. I have a extra Remington 700 short action so what the hell. The barrel should be here next week. And ordered 200 rds of Peterson brass. I'm hoping to put it together before summer.

What suppressor would you recommend over the Banish 30? I was looking at the Banish 30 for my 1st can that I'd use on a 270win, try it out on 223 with a 20inch barrel.

I have the banish 30 and the varmiter that I use on my 270, AR10, & AR15 and they both work great on all of them. On the AR15 I take the 2” off the banish 30 to help with balance.

I have one myself and have no complaints. It's a very versatile, lightweight can, and I like that you can take it apart for cleaning.
It seems pretty quiet to me, but if you look at the Pew Science rankings, filter it to "supersonic 308" and then sort by "overall composite suppression ranking", it comes in about mid-pack.

I must have typed and read whole thing wrong. I meant to say 22 ARC. I just read his post incorrectly. Sorry about that
