Wish I was techy enough to down load videos. Got a couple from yesterday in the tractor trying to get from our house to Mom and Dads where the cows are calving. less than 1/3 mile took 25 minutes. Almost ran into 30 foot ash trees along the driveway, 10 feet away before you could see them. At times yuo couldnot see the loader on the front of the tractor.

Just got done digging into out yard and opening the road to the hiway. Hiway 256 is blocked in a few spots with 4-6 foot drifts. 12 - 14 foot drifts in the front of the house, friends house is completely drifted over.

This morning came out of the bunk house and got in the tractor and at the end of a pen on top of a big pile of snow there was one rooster crowing and flapping his wings. I had to smile it was as if he was saying "oh yeah, screw you Ma Nature...........

Deer look rough the yard looked like the cows had gotten out for tracks.

This was as bad as the 70's.

I hope their wrong about his weekend.

Just windy here near Bismarck, but heard from Ma that the damn coyotes got brave yesterday and snatched a calf out of their calf shelter. Rotten bastages!

And I think they only got around 5 inches of snow.

I feel bad for you guys up north. All I can see is brown here in the southeast. Can't believe we live in the same state.

The good thing now days is our equipment is so much better than in the past , My tractor will move more snow in an hour than what Dad could move in a day with the old Super M and The county blade plows through snow that would have taken a dozer in the 66 blizzard. My heart sunk when I first saw this picture then I read that the owners had abandoned their car and caught a ride and a pickup had backed into it .

If I owned that little red car I would have nightmares for years to come.

Good heavens, how fast do Chevy owners drive in reverse? And why do they back into little red cars, and repeatedly by the looks of that thing?

From what I read the car was first hit by a semi first then abandoned along side the road then the pickup backed over it.

The truck did not back into it. He hit the abandoned car at a slight angle and hopped over the top of it.
