I believe my 38" fit, possibly 40", I had to purchase a 2 piece 48" laker rod as a 1 piece will not fit.
Whats the maximum length for a rod case like this??
Suggestions on how to mount some kind of rack on the back of a Polaris XC to hold rods, bucket maybe a flasher and tackle box? Its not an extended track or is the seat short, so I don't have much room to work with, along with an auger rack. Im not a welder and don't know any so that is out of the question.
We are up here right now. We parked at chalet in the small parking area. We have pulled a 4 place snowmobile trailer in there w/o problems when it's not full. It's rough getting on the lake from chalet. Have to drive across 10'+ ice mounds by the shore The lake seems very rough compared to years past
Rod holders on the back and side of my ATV rack. Don't have to screw with a case and don't have to worry about busted rods.

Do your rods get full of snow/slush when on the back? I have a rod holder similar to that on my atv but when i had it on the back rack they filled up with ice from the snow and slush so i moved it to the front center of the front rack to keep them protected. Looks kind of dumb but it works!
A few pictures from last weeks day trip...the first of 4 trips this year.
When it is 10 miles further to go to winnipeg vs. baudette, it is an easy choice!
