Pass them on the right at will. They're shooting oncoming while trying to time an egress to the opposing direction.
And when they do find their cut-across it’s, dynamite the brakes and further exacerbate an already ugly situation.

You’ve got your work cut out to convince me that they’re not amused/entertained by the shitshow they create.

Not that motivated for another argument. I will say I'm not talking out my ass. It's the same as what semi drivers deal with on a much smaller scale. I'm not at all saying there's not incidents of "fuck the retards". On several occasions in my youth in the bitchn' camaro I'd damn near touch the bumper in front of me until I could pass in front of the trooper with a quick right/left swap. I'd usually have a few miles of ecstatic clear freedom until an on ramp gave me a fucktard determined to trap me left or keep me behind their retard fucking dumb ass on the right.

I don't know, nor care, what state this video comes from. Four lane highways in ND are very rarely at this level. Last damn thing I would support is another effing law that MN has on the books.

That's fair. I have thought of this thread more times than I should need to recently as I pass someone on the right or have the conversation with my teenage son on why he needs to move over into the right lane. A law shouldn't have to be the reason to do it, but IMO nice to know there's something they can enforce if jackwagons take control of the passing lane and won't move over (yes, it is called the PASSING LANE).

More need to be ticketed!!
They should also ticket those who forgot one car length for every ten miles per hour, and pull in front of a person so close it engages automatic braking. Then the next car passes and does the same. Soon you find yourself from 75 mph down to 50 and you have to turn off cruise. Left lane driving is a problem, but not as bad as those who are so proud of how fast they can get in the right lane. I think there may be a few culprits here.

Right? Not another car behind them for miles and when they pass you they dodge in front of you like they’re getting out of the way to let someone else by.

It’s definitely some sort of subconscious passive aggressive thing going on there. I don’t have sensor braking but can imagine what a PITA that would be.

The ones that cut back right in front of you after passing need to read the little message on the bottom of the right side mirror.

Object’s in mirror are closer than they appear.

When passing I don't like to get back in the right lane until I know one of those rocks I pick/stir up from the middle rumble strip won't crack your windshield. On 2 lanes with minimal traffic, it's just purely common courtesy.

If you have tires that like to store pebbles between the treads and literally sounds like an underground rock festival especially on cold frosty gravel, you know..

Clear open roads, no reason to crowd anyone from behind or befront.

Turn yourself into a rolling road-block, don't be surprised when folks are discourteous to you.

People who don't/won't use cruise on dry open roads are the worst. Just yesterday in <100Mi I passed the same car 2x as well as caught and pulled out to pass the same car 4x more and when I got to her rear bumper she sped way up. She'd get beside someone she was passing then slow down and "pace" them. I had my cruise set.

That I can't figure out. Do some people space out so bad driving that they don't realize the speed they're going and then step on it when you get close? Sure a head shaker.

0 situational awareness. Same people you have to honk @ when the light turns green. Phone or conversation w/person in the car is more important than everything else going on around them in the world.

They’re the 1st ones in the ditch when it gets slick.

Pass them doing 78-80 on the open interstate as they’re plodding along @ 72. They don’t slow down for construction zones and are suddenly riding your bumper. If they do slow for the zone, they don’t speed up when they’re through, or they pull into the left lane and pace the semi - 72-73 MPH for miles.

I’m gonna have a stroke.

Wife's car has it and I hate it, then again I don't drive it much. On interstate when I start coming within 10-15 car lengths of a slower vehicle I just turn it off then pass and back on. I know there is a way to change settings and turn feature off but I don't know how to do it exactly and for the small amount I'm driving it I just work around it instead of messing up her settings.

Either hold the button that turns the cruise on down for 3-5 sec, or hit it 2x. If that doesn't work you might be able to go into the setting and turn it off.

Some of them you can't turn off. I had a 2021 or 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe provided by a previous employer and I never could get the adaptive cruise turned off.

About the only "driver's aid" I really appreciate is the backup warnings. In many places, the sensors on the bumper can see oncoming traffic better that you can from the driver's seat or even in a backup camera. Parking lots when a higher profile vehicle is next to you or many cities down-town on-street parking spaces I find the backing-aid quite helpful.

Beyond the backing aid, please just let me drive the friggin thing.
