Li time lithium batteries

Anyone run the li time lithium batteries for their trolling motors? They are priced about 1/3 the price of others

Seems I've read good things on other sites about them; bought one a couple weeks ago with a charger for about $160

Last year was my first year using them and have no complaints so far. I just bought another for the electronics

I run four in my 189 gl. Really like them. For the cost the 5 year warranty doesn’t scare me. Only issue i had was I bumped my electronics on and sent the battery to 0. Needed to play with the charger a little but got it back up. Full day guide trips and still only a couple hours to fully charge. Never ran out of battery and that’s the first time in the last 3 years.

What Amp Hour did you buy? And which model - bluetooth, etc?

Good grief, while I can see where there's some benefit to this...I put it right up there with Amped Outdoors' BMS. BMS = Battery Management System

I must be the only one to read the words on the Amped Outdoors battery chargers as I specifically asked the Scheels people about "WTF is this" as they were labeled as for use only with BMS batteries, or something like that...I already threw the box away. Something about temp control, etc.

Oddly enough, they don't use the expression "this is a battery with BMS" on their own damn batteries. At least, not prominently on the exterior of their batteries.

Agreed - I was just curious to hear if and why bluetooth option was worthwhile. But mainly which Amp Hour was producing results of full day guiding. Seems like a cheap upgrade for a guy already in the market for new batteries.

My use would be 10-12 hours fishing with a trolling motor chasing bass while I cast along a shoreline.....
