Looking for boat landing and fishing reports from Hankinson area?

I have a nephew that will be going to the Hankinson area this weekend to fish and I have heard that the boat accesses on the local lakes might be in real tough shape with the low water issue.

Anyone have recent info for the area for the landings and how the bite is ?

Lake Elsie ramps should be good. North one the better of the two. All the little lakes where you put in via-ditches could be tough unless you have small boat. Going west Grass, Alkali,( Sprague and Tewaukeon on refuge) docks are open, Silver and Buffalo are good, Kraft by Oakes is ok. Did a drive-about last sunday but have not put boat in yet. Don't really know how the bite is going but according to weather apps should be good. Went too Whapeton on Monday morning early and must have meet 10 boats headed west,. that tells me something is up. Good luck and have fun.
