Heres a good read on M3 for any still unsure...

The most notable opposition to Measure 3 — North Dakotans Against the Legalization of Recreational Marijuana — was organized with less than 60 days to the election. They’re led by 76-year old former North Dakota Attorney General (1981-1984) and District Court Judge Bob Wefald. No offense, but Mr. Wefald has really been an embarrassment to the organization. His interviews amount to an anti-marijuana version of Grumpy Old Men— as evidenced by this interview with Point of View’s Chris Berg. But I digress.

It wasn’t a surprise at all when Wefald and others took to running a campaign of fear against Measure 3. They’re still working at convincing people that passage of the measure would legalize driving while high. It’s a ridiculous claim and one that I debunked here. In fact, I wouldn’t bother trying to hash over all their arguments. There’s simply not time.

I will say this… if you’re tired of taxpayer dollars being wasted on the arrest, prosecution, and incarceration of non-violent marijuana users, then Measure 3 is for you. If you think that the State’s handling of Medical Marijuana has been unacceptable, then Measure 3 is for you. If you think those who need Medical Marijuana shouldn’t have to ask the government for permission to obtain it — and even pay for the privilege — then Measure 3 is for you. Or if you simply think people should have the right to live their lives as they see fit, so long as they don’t harm others, then Measure 3 is for you.

Heck, even if you have concerns because you give credence to some of the Chicken Little arguments that are out there, just remember the legislative session is coming up and legislators can and will make clarifications, if necessary. People aren’t going to be growing it everywhere, selling it everywhere, smoking it everywhere, and no… they won’t be driving under its influence everywhere either. Oh, and it’ll be taxed in the stores that sell it too.
The Minuteman is — without fear — a YES on Measure 3. It’s time.

Even Chris Berg looked like he wanted to strangle that idiot. Haha

I have a theory that Bob Wefald is actually in favor of measure 3. He did more harm for the opposition than good in that interview. He walked into that place with a huge chip on his shoulder. So much anger

Wefald had a son that was killed in a drug related vehicle accident, I dont really blame him for his animosity towards drugs, but he obviously isnt a good representative of that cause, if they aim to convert anyone under the age of 60 at least. Oh, Id bet my next paycheck that hes lying about not being a paid representative also, in several interviews hes referred to it has 'my job' and 'work', but then adamantly claims hes not being compensated... I think hes a liar.

what I read this morning Colorado ranks 6th in students who have dabbled with pot, The drug cartels aren't the ones pushing, the cartels stopped shipping pot because since legalized there is no money in it, Heroin is their money maker now, Homelessness in Colorado has spiked, that is because of no low income housing, High cost of housing and low wages, and the fact they are getting flooded from California, I think what Twitch posted makes sense,

The way I look at it is this, the people that are going to use it recreationally already are. I don’t see it creating a whole bunch of new users that aren’t already indulging. What it will do is allow the ones that could use it medically get it since our legislators saw fit to thumb their noses at their constituents, all while opening up some prison space to be used on people that really deserve to be there instead of a normally harmless pothead. Just my opinion

i will laugh my ass off if this passes and the legislature constricts it with a rule that says that if you are in possession of MJ while hunting you forfeit you rights for a year, or you have to forfeit your concealed weapons permit. Vote how you want, but i would be uncomfortable letting the legislature be the ones to define all the rules for this measure, you may be surprised how it turns out.

the ironic thing is that many say they are for #3 because of how the legislature chopped up the medical mj but also are saying the legislature will fix all the problems with #3 if passed.

It’s more like: “thanks for screwing up medical, paving the way for recreational. I hope you don’t mind the twist of the blade.”

Texting and driving is illegal and quite dangerous. Did that stop ya’ll from looking at your phone in your vehicle?

I only look at my phone while driving if I have a beer between my legs and a joint in the other hand.

I wonder how many good people have been murdered so they could have their dope.

That's part of the reasoning behind legalization. The number of people killed will be far less.

You seem to like the police.

What's your take on the kid the cops killed in Wahpeton over a small bag of Marijuana? That operation only cost hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars and no one arrested.

There are many imaginary stories people make up to justify their preferred dependency. My point was how many have died because it's illegal and people still bought and smoked it. Nothing like funding the cartels and the American organized crime. Years ago this was looked at as a radical liberal pipe dream, no pun intended.

Let's take a look at years ago since you brought it up. Starting at 2737 BC up to today where government overreach funded by big pharma has us giving up our second amendment rights to use it for medicine.
