Crispi and Kenetrek look almost identical. Probably made in the same factory side by side each other.

I have every available weight in the Kenetrek extremes and wouldn’t change it for the world!

Been very happy with my vasque hiking boots for the past 5years. I don't use insulated boots bird hunting even during the coldest temps. Pair of good wool socks and hiking boots, prior to this it was danner pronghorns.

Another vote for the Kenetrek Mountain Extremes. I use the uninsulated for pheasant hunting unless it's really cold, have a 400g pair for that. Probably a little overkill for ND terrain but they're comfortable. Have had them 8-9 years, big upgrade over the ~$150 pairs I used to use. Bought a pair of Schnee Beartooths a year ago for around $200 on sale, no comparison to the Kenetreks IMO.

I have two pair of the Danner Pronghorns and love them boots. I would really like to know how many miles I have put on them. From the Mountain's to the Badlands to the CRP and everything in-between. They wear great and fit great. I have only heard of a couple of people that dislike them. But of heard from lots of people that loved them. A few yrs ago we went out to Western N.D. Antelope hunting. My nephew shot a buck and were all standing around looking at it. There were 7 of us in the group. Six of us had Danners on and one had squared toed cowboy boots.

That says something about the quality right there. I wore a pair at work being on concrete and standing for 10 hrs a day. I wore a plastic cap on them so they had a solid toe for PPE at work. Then the policy changed and the cap had to be build into the boots.

There good boots.

Pronghorn were good years ago when built here but are garbage now compared to any of the boots mentioned her. Got a pair a few years ago leaked from the get go and fell a part in less than a year.

Maybe but im not the only one that i know personally that had the same problems and then just to add the people on this thread figured its just easier and the meindls and kennetreks have better in every way.

I have/had many boots listed here, Kenetrek, Crispi, Lowa and others.
They're all definitely built to last thats for sure, no comparison to your old school boots. But Iike all have said you need to try them all on for yourself.
Scheels has a great sale right now on the Lowa Tibets at $250 "regularly $415", great arch support and really well built just a little heavier.

Original Pronghorns were awesome. Once changed I tried two iterations and they were both dog crap. Ended my Danner days.

Any brand recommendations for narrower feet? All the input so far is helpful.

The zamberlans seem to have a narrower foot bed

I have been wearing Lowa boots for hiking and upland hunting for several years and I swear by them. No blisters, comfortable, and they last.

You just cost me $250. 😁 They didn't have size 13, but they ordered for that price. They had two models of Crispi on sale also.
