Was thinking of getting this for my Mercury 60 HP outboard. Think it would be worth the 250 bucks that they want for it?

My neighbor runs it on his boat, he says he likes it. i have thought about buying it for my little lund with a 60hp on it but i really dont need it for anything. On my big merc i have the smart craft gauges, and i use a lot of the info off there.

I have it. It’s pretty neat device.. I think it’s pricey for what it is, but if you ever want to sell your boat it at least tells you the hours. It does not give you rpm range though. You can see real time gph temps etc

I use the vessel view link to tie my engines into my Lowrance graph. I get real time fuel, engine parameters and alarms if they happen to pop up all on a heads up display. It was a spendy first investment, but I have taken it to every boat I have owned since. I felt the mobile version was not enough for what I wanted so I sold and upgraded to the link, but for the average user, the mobile is a great addition to the smart craft system.
