My dad got the new 2018 Impact in May with a 150 Merc 4 stroke. I believe he has a 17 pitch tempest plus on it. He weighs about 210 and I am about 240. With the boat full of gas and the live wells full plus all of our gear I saw 47mph. 50-52 is not a stretch with no gear alone and a half tank on a nice day. If you are looking for a nice fishing boat and don't wanna spend 60k it is a very nice boat and we fish Sakakawea only. Great for a serious fisherman or a family.
