OK guys my 10 year old flip phone was going south so I finally stepped into the 21 century and got an Iphone 6 plus. Am in a massive learning curve here and am at wits end having never used a smart phone before, my wife has had one for about 3 years but I never played on it at all..
Loaded up the tapatalk app even though I have no idea how to use it or what it actually does but seem to see everyone on forums uses it and was searching for forums on it and this and another one I can not seem to find through tapatalk.
I can load up the sites through the web but am having trouble trying to figure out how to read the forum on a phone, I see talk of mobile versions and was wondering how to go about seeing this to get the content into a field of view that I can actually read.

Any must have apps I need to load or any other quick learning curve items to help me get started to learn things.
My wife recently switched from a Samsung phone to an apple phone as well and said it is a lot easier to use all around versus the other system plus pretty much my whole family on the wifes side uses them lots of nieces and nephews to help me out but have not sat down with them yet and wife just left for a business trip for the next 10 days so I am on my own to learn this thing on the fly.

There are apps for just about everything. I'd look in the app store and find a knot tying app, unless you're already a boyscout. There are a hell of a lot of apps out there, go after whatever floats your boat and experiment.

I would, however, get whatever app is specific to your email account, that makes life a little easier as security tightens ever more on email.

Since you're married, I'd suggest staying away from Tinder. It's not usually wife approved.

Note, I had to power by the fact that you got an IPhone. So the above is quite generic.

Get google chrome for your search engine. NDA will work whole lot better.

I just recently added chrome to my home pc along with add blocker and am still getting used to it but wished I would have added add blocker years ago, makes life so much nicer browsing the forums.

The new phone has 4 search engines on it already when I open the web I can choose form one of them has google but not chrome.
Do you use tapatalk and how does one go about finding the mobile app for the individual forums?

A while back I read somewhere that 60% of the Flashlight apps for phones had malware or viruses in their code. Can't remember anymore where I read that but it was a reputable source.

Make sure you connect it to wifi where ever you can. Theres nothing worse than the wife telling you to quite looking at porn because you racked up anouther $100 in overage fees.

Haha straight talk here through Walmart so shouldn't have to worry about that, 45 bucks a month for the 5 gig of data plan or one can jump to 55 bucks a month for 10 gig of data, text and talk are unlimited with either plan.

For this site, if its not default on the mobile version, in the bottom left of home page there is a dropdown to choose it.

The second time I logged into the site it automatically switched to a mobile view same with another forum, must have needed to adjust after the first visit.

Shouldn't need a flash light app as it is built in like you say. I recommend:
MyRadar
Sports Alerts
Windy
FindFriends
Compass

Mine has a built in compass as well
not a sports fan.
Windy sounds interesting, will check it out.
Any good weather app is worth it since i am usually 20+ miles from the boat ramp i put in at most days on the water.
I only keep two friends at a time besides my wife so i usually know where they are without needing an app lol.

Find Friends serves 2 purposes for my wife and I, first, we can see the physical location of each other. This comes in handy when we are traveling alone or if 1 of us (not me) won't answer our phone. Second, I can tell her where she left her phone :)

Thanks, I guess I have no idea what most of them do are the purpose is yet.
Problem with that is my wife is not very religious at charging hers and is stone dead about as often as it has some what of a charge in it so it probably wouldn't help out much in that case.
I see I cloud has find phone built into the system as well along with finding friends.
