That's right....not all superstars, everyone just does their job. It's about making the most of your draft picks like the Pats and Pack has and then not falling in love and overpaying certain guys....like what the vikes are paying ap at this point in his career.

AP has to go or lower pay cut, which he said he wants to stay a viking and he is possibly willing to take a pay cut to stay up here, which i think is probably not for the better, if he's worth something? some draft picks, etc. i think you gotta take those and run pay cut or not i dont think he will live up to whatever money they give him, work on that o line depth and work with the guys you have already and they will be just fine we will be in an awesome qb predicament next year i am guessing 2 qbs that are the top in the league as far as accuracy goes and dont give up a lot of turn overs diggs had a big season again, build on that, theilan came out of nowhere to explode this season build off that, and either get treadwell in the game or get rid of him he's either good enough to play or he's not WR dont need to sit a whole rookie season in order to get ready for the NFL run your damn routes run them correctly catch the ball and be the beast you were in college, our run game is there if we have an sort of push or hole making ability from the oline, look at our plays from the goal line, there is no push at all, if you are 1 yard out from a TD anyone on this site should be able to get that hand off and go into the endzone the o line needs to have some push, they gotta get mean defense needs to stay healthy and stick to their game plan to A rodg cant go off on us, i dont think there are a lot of changes other than something happening with AP and the oline getting healthy and hopefully staying healthy, the team is there if we can stay on our feet and add some depth to a few key areas, clemmings, im lookin at you bud. all in all it was a super super depressing season and i for one am glad it was over, this was a tough season to swallow, but like a true vikings fan.... just wait til next year, its our year!

Snaps played on offense and defense by rookies this year (playoff teams bolded)


Nice draft last year by speilman, with the salary cap teams need a contribution from their rookies. Rick Speilman will have his work cut out for himself this year without a 1st round pick. I haven't been and fan of spielman and he better be on his last straw. He is the common guy as gm through the vikings last 3 or 4 coaches.

I think a first round pick is over rated it shown that many good players who have actually been drafted in higher rounds have gone on to play many years in a system designed for that player. Again look at the Patriots Bill scouts for players that can work in his system. His players that don't fit his mold are cut plain and simple ,AP would have been cut the same year he was suspended for child abuse. Like I said patriots have taken the bottom end of the first round draft for over a decade and still seem to find strong talent in the later rounds. First round draft choices are for business revenue many never make it because of the pressure of playing at what everyone thinks you are worth.

Ha no I don't think joe deserves to be hired yet, speilman still gets another shot is far as I am concerned. There was a lot of injuries on the offensive side of the ball so with that said Joe will have to wait till the 2018 season to make his move.

no thanks, at this point it is like taking over the titanic after the dip shit ignored all warnings, and plowed into the iceberg at 20 knots. Spielman shit his own bed, and now he can lie in it. But I applaud his effort of plugging a dozen open roster spots with 5th and 7th round picks. 2017 is a wasted year and I'm spending most of it following Earnhardt's final season.
