what is the problem here in ND that we can't bring the population back. In the 70's they were everywhere. Huge herds. Didn't have a season for many many years.

Buddy of mine and his friend were down in AZ and tipped over this giant yesterday.

That's a good looking Antelope. I used to see one that looked like that up on the strip once in a while, what unit were they in?

Anyone have any advice for Archery in SD? What i gather is that it i have to apply for the tag but you have a good chance to get it , and around $280 for the tag...is access onto land in general harder than in ND ?

Archery antelope tags in SD are over the counter. There is no lottery. The tag is $285. It is a no trespass state so you have to have permission to go out on land. Locating landowners an be tough to access the land. If you do some research you will find quite a lot of good antelope land in Butte, Harding and Perkins counties that is all open to public hunting.

No limit on the tags but you have to get them thru the licensing office in Ft. Pierre . Apply either on-line or paper app . If a 1st time archery hunter you must complete the National bow hunter Education course . Start taking apps in July
