I am a morning person, even on day off with nothing going on I'm out of bed at 5 having a cup of coffee...I'd rather have more light in the morning...not the evening. In June and July campfires aren't even fun till 11...that's about 2 hours past my bedtime! I like getting on the water at 6am...off by noon before it gets hot. Just my take...
Same.

I am ready for bed by the time the campfire gets really going, earlier is gooder.

I emailed 9 legislators after I heard about this bill and explained to them about the summers being 4:30 to 8:30 and how that didn't benefit anyone including agriculture or those working 8:00 to 5:00. Three of them emailed me back they had no idea the bill on the table was getting rid of "the wrong time" and that they were going to contact the sponsor(s) to re-evaluate, amend or withdraw. 6 didn't reply. We'll see what happens.

More day light in the evening is definitely better. I already go to work at 4:30 in the summer standard would make it 3:30 and that would suck.
^^^^^THIS^^^^^ X 100!!

IF it changes that would be getting on at 5....(Which is still past sunup in June..you're late)
You're arguing against yourself.

I am retired so ask me if I give a shit. LB ...antlers... ...antlers... ...antlers... ...antlers...
LOL, I'm in the same boat. I don't carry a watch or a phone but I usually get up early and go to bed late. Most days I can hear the noon siren 6 miles away but it means nothing to me. I eat when I get hungry and sleep when I get tired ( a little extra of both on cold or rainy days) . When it's hot out I get my stuff done early and when it's cold I wait till afternoon when it warms up. Life is good.

I could give 2 shits what time the sun comes up in the morning, as I'm always awake between 5 and 6 in the morning whether it's dark or light out.

I do like it lighter later in the day during summer tho. ...boozer...

Does anyone else dislike the short days during Dec and early Jan ? That internal clock is something crazy in me. I'm tired almost all the time during those short days but can go long and hard during the long days of summer. I've never figured out why or how to fix it.
It screws with me bad. Go to work in the dark and head home in the dark. The extra hour of sunlight in the evening would go a long ways for a lot of people. Might even help those with seasonal depression a bit….

I think this is the case with most people. They don’t realize it’s gonna get lighter earlier and darker sooner

I agree, when I was working it would have been nice. I think school bus safety is a big factor .
