American Indians once said, "Only a paleface would think that cutting off 2 inches on one end of a blanket and sewing it on to the other end would make it longer

I can't believe people are so lazy, or dumb that changing their clock twice a year is that big of a deal. Why anyone would want to take daylight away from those on the clock is beyond me.
Agree. I've brought this topic up with a couple dozen people over the last couple weeks. A couple have said they'd like to get rid of time changes and since we can't go dst permanently that they'd agree with cst permanently. A couple have been confused, thinking that this bill would create later sunsets all year instead of the opposite. A couple have been neutral but most have said something to the effect that one of their favorite parts of living in this part of the world is having it light until 10 oclock in the summer.

It looks like the house changed the wording of the bill to make it so DST would be permanent instead of standard time (which I am totally in favor of) but then voted it down since the feds don't allow that yet. Have to scratch your head at politics

I was also excited there for a minute.

These old bastards need to be replaced, but they also voted to change the term limits ND'rs voted for...
