What makes them way better than timney?
The timney is thicker than the factory trigger group causing the bolt release to stick unless you grind clearance in your stock.
The adjustment of the Trigger X is way simpler, one Allen head that can be reached without disassembling the rifle. The Timney has two Allen heads for creep and pull. More difficult to adjust I think.
The sear stays together as the Trigger X is one piece, so it's easier to pin in the action VS the factory or Timney triggers.
Trigger X is also cheaper out of the gate.
I own several Timney, Jewel for my R700 herd and KIDD Trigger groups for my 10-22 stuff. When I got my hands on the Trigger X I was impressed with packaging, fit and finish, super easy adjustment, razor sharp no creep break, and will be ordering more.
Hope that helps KurtR
