I may be way off base here but seems like the thumbs up thing is more of a light hearted way to let your opinion be know without posting. The reputation system seems to be more serious because there are repercussions for receiving bad ones.

I would like to see a thumbs down button and make all rep points be of a non anonymous nature. Damn that is worded so poorly I had to look and see if I had a Bison shirt on.

Okay, so I went and looked. So you're saying an a$$hat is a strikingly good looking middle aged fella with three days beard stubble with a really cool handlebar moustache that maybe eats a little too much spaggetti with a stain from the sauce on his shirt?

Here is a good example of why I dont particularly like the negative rep thing....



Trying to get a good positive thing going for everyone who wants to participate, and someone dings me for it.... Oh well, it wont ruin my day!!!

No idea who sent it, but by reading some of the posts above, you can probably guess.

I will say one thing about the Bad Rep, I think it's BS that it can be done anonymous.

When i have left rep i put my name with it. Guess i only have given positive if i have a negative to say i just say it on the forum or use the ignore feature.
