There is another rock pile further down from the ones called out above. Its about 70' offshore and right in-between the two houses just north of whispering bay inlet.
It use to show itself a lot more before the flood. I'm wondering if the "scouring" effect of the flood didn't actually allow the pile to sink a bit. It was a mixture of concrete/rebar/rocks

It has always been the best to stay as close to mid river as you can in that stretch just south of the fox ramp. Some years the bars in the middle of the river don't let you get too far from the shore. But between the 2-3 underwater hazards, shore fisherman, swimmers, courtesy dock, private docks.... don't hug the east shore traveling south of fox
