Roast duck?

Years ago I deep fried a turkey and was just finishing up a honker that had been plucked. It looked really good and I thought lets drop it in the oil and deep fry it. I injected it with butter and herbs with Cajon shaker on the outside. A turkey takes 3.5 mins a pound. So though a goose would be roughly 5 to 6 mins a lb. The fat rendered and it was not eligible I will never do that again.

I'm sure domestic duck. I couldn't imagine a wild tasting any better
we used to have 4h kids give us there ducks, Rouen ducks (Huge green head) they tasted different than wild ones, I like the wild mallards better
