well hopefully i will be lifting mine up somehow and attaching it to some poles i will already have in the ground i would like to get the base 5-6 feet off the ground so the deer cant see right through the blind which i believe is one of the biggest benefits you can get if they cant look straight through you have a lot better chance of not being seen but obviously for your situation that wont work!

I'm with KDM on this, kind of a dumb idea actually. Be cheaper and less work to throw a box together out of scrap lumber. Not sure why people even want to try this type of thing. Seen a lot of old combines used too that were a pain in the arse to get in and out of and weren't any better then an old wood box. Deer will get used to anything that's out there year round anyway. To each their own.

I thought I remembered a topic on a semi sleeper on here sure enough I typed in the semi sleeper and bam here it is. This was the exact same type of sleeper used as a ice house.
Arrowden was a ambition guy with alot of great ideas RIP
