The point where the people advizing you to not get so wound up about bad rep are actually getting more would up about you talking about bad rep than you are about the bad rep..........:D

My apologizes for the shit about not actually being able to spell out the word pussy mr ahab and mickey, I think you miss the point yourself, I really don;t care that much about bad rep, I don;t think I get that much and what I do likely comes from the same panty waists that are too chicken shit to sign their name which I find amusing rather than disturbing which is why I bring it up at all.

You also seem to miss it was a couple of other people thinking the rep deal after getting unsigned bad rep was "gay" as well before I even mentioned it from a thread a couple weeks old.

They are likely people that spouted off about Hillary on here but secretly voted for her.

Anyways good luck fishing, back out to build a bit more fence, all those snowflakes was a bitch on it this year.

tell you what Mr. wiggler, I'll embrace the snowflake deal if you latch on to the whiney bitch moniker. ;)

So why does this keep coming up?

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Lycanthrope again.

is lycan on some kind of naughty list becasue of his rep parties?

If your dog ran off chasing a deer when you were out hunting and was a mile from any farm is he a feral dog?

It could work both ways??

No....dogs arent responsible for dozens of extinctions. Dogs dont kill everything in their path for fun. feral cats are the most destructive invasive specie on planet earth....even worse than hogs. Keep your pos cats inside, and dont dump your goldfish in the river.

A dog miles away from a dwelling is looking for its owner....a cat DGAF, its out killing stuff baby pheasants, song birds, and any other small animals they can find.

The easiest fix in town is a lid on the garbage can, Then if they still hang around go back to plan A. I can see in town how it would be a problem. Every pet owner should realize that not everyone is as fond of your pet as you are no matter if its a Dog or a Cat in the city or out in the country. My "pet peeve" is when we get company that brings their high energy bird dogs and let them run. Don't get me wrong, I like dogs , I just don't have one. mostly because I like to be footloose and not plan around an animal, I did that for years with livestock. The bonus is that we have a few native animals around that dogs put the run on. Geese and ducks on the pond and in the yard , Deer , grouse and a rare pheasant ..... You never know what you might see for wildlife in our yard summer or winter and I like that. The bad thing is once they get busted from their cover or nest disrupted it's a good chance you won't see them again. Dogs have that same itch to sniff and kill for fun and they can cover a lot of territory in just a few minutes.

Ditto. I love dogs, but don't have one because I don't want to be tied down. I don't want a yippy foot stool, and I don't want a 50lb dog in my camper, and I don't want to pay to leave them in a kennel.
Cats? I have to agree with MSA. Studies have been done in England and here at home in Michigan. They kill millions of song birds each year. The owners who let their cats run are self centered and foolish. People like the protestors will run from march to march protesting for mother earth, then let their cats run. Some will even brag about what a good hunter tabby is, she keeps bringing birds home to me. Then they will chastise you for throwing a plastic bottle in the trash.

Austrailia is on the brink of losing most of its unique wildlife because of cats, and currently trying to exterminate millions of them. I think many island countries and territories have or are making cats illegal to own.

The number one killer of American Blue Bird is the cow bird laying its eggs in Blue Bird nests. Feral cats come in topping the list at number two.

Cameras were installed to monitor nests. The videos should be released to the public to educate what their damn cat does. Hey Plains, wouldn't the US Geological Survey have the data and/or film?

I used the Blue Bird analogy for the very reason my wife walks in just now and says, "you hunters just don't want cats out there eating your game birds so you can shoot more." .......honey, sportsmen don't shoot Blue Birds....she abandons the conversation.

My neighbor had some horses in an old farmstead with bales stacked in buildings etc. If one adopted cat was good 50 would be better. He lived in town and the cats scattered.

One cold day I took a walk on snowshoes and came upon a hen pheasant with just the head eaten off and the body was still warm. The cat prints went into some brush. There she sat so I said here kitty and she came right up to me. I grabbed her by the back legs and swung her around against a tree. She pissed all over my glove. You know how when it is cold your nose runs a little so you wipe on your glove? Every time I forgot, I got a little reminder of that cat.

A cat away from home killing game birds are really nice different that dogs out chasing deer and other wild life.
If either decide to travel away from safe confines of their home and cause disruption the owners better not be butt hurt when they don't return.
City limits can be a hang up but what nobody knows probably won't hurt them.

I don't think they have their own data, but would guess it's available in one of the periodicals in their library. Often research is done by grad students and funded jointly through a university. I think I read the data about Michigan in the Journal of Wildlife Management.

I've seen dogs pack up. They will revert to their wolf instincts eventually. They can and have attacked people.
