I don't shoot cats unless they are a known nuisance or are causing problems. I am not a cat person but some people are and cats can run away and return home just like dogs. But on a side not what kind of grips are them that is a sweet looking little gun.

I honestly don't see nearly as many cats out in the middle of no where as I used to. Coyotes I guess... and simply less farms in many cases.

I got tired of cats in my garbage leaving a mess, live trap, collared or not= dead. I don't let my dogs roam nor should one let their cats roam

In 5 years living out of town I have yet to see a cat. Then again I think my Shephard would make it his lunch if he seen one. Gourmet meal for him.

I hate mice so cats are okay with me. Unless you got 1000 of them.

I am actually a cat liker. As long as they are outside. Wife has two cats in the house, and somehow Im the one in charge of cleaning the litter. Splain that one !?!?!

I had a farmer friend ask me to help thin out his cat herd a few years back. I found 7 1/2 shot to worked the best, especially after they all started running.

On another note, 2 dogs walk into a bar and sit down for a drink. After a minute one dog looks around and says to his friend "Do you know where we are? None of the other dogs have collars on. You took us to a STRAY bar!"

the first fella in the arrow shootings ended up pleading to both counts: 1 year concurrent, serve 14 days concurrent, court fees, remainder suspended for 2 years of unsupervised probation. he is now a felon. he had the chance to get one count dismissed by pleading to the other. but, it looks like he failed to take responsibility at the change of plea hearing on the remaining count by not admitting the shooting was intentional. so, the court rejected his plea and the plea deal. the state reinstated the dismissed charge and he eventually got stuck with both of them.

I noticed someone took the topic to the other site because they don't like the comments on this one I guess.

I don't shoot cats in the country but they are/can be a problem. Every once in a while you read about them in an outdoor magazine and the destruction they can cause especially house cats bc they go out and kill for fun and go home to eat.

Fyi...you shoot one of my cats and it won't be me you will have to worry about but the wife is another story....

After you mentioned the other site I figured I would take a look, AND now I know why I don't visit the other site.

Apparently most of us are horrible people over here in NDA land and the other site is full of saints

When working on the farm we had 20 or so cats in the barn (no mice around) but after a year there would be 100 of them. Only one way to thin the herd shotgun 8 shot. had to do it or chickens would start to disappear. Needed them around for the vermon or that got stupid. liked cats more then mice or rats. If you have cats and you let them roam you should be charged for neglect. as far as that goes dogs the same way. The dogs on the farm stayed on the farm if they were roaming the country side my uncle would shoot his own dog thats the way it was. I know how KDM feels about the dogs and cats getting dropped off in the country happen to us also. sad seeing a dog starve because they dont know how to take care of themselves and the owners thought they were being nice. yea right.
