Small updates to the site

Sorry, I haven't done the best job of posting things as I improve/update them. Here is the most recent.

5/7/15
Added games section.

Updated navigation to be consistant on all pages.

Up'd the size of avatars to 160x160

Weather & Solunar section added.

5/3/15
Activity sidebar now viewable when viewing threads/posts.

Added "sarcasm" and "kidding" icons. In with the smilies.

Points/Awards/Achievements system introduced (will see tweaks over next couple of weeks).

Updated Navigation to make it uniform throughout the site.

Added a "go to top" button on all posts

Made the "give reputation" and "report post" buttons more visible with images

Excluded 'Politics' section from the activity feed.

Many fixes to Video Room. In final stages of beta testing.

Changed landing page of profiles to the "about me" tab.

Added a "post new thread" button at the top and bottom of all "view thread/posts" pages.

Putting a video link in your thread/post will now automatically embed the actual video. (optimized for YouTube)

Added quick search items as seen in pic below: (in sub-nav on relevant pages)


Added 'Recent Classifieds" to home page.

Good add on's. I like it. I'm still trying to get use to everything. For the most part you've done a great job designing the site. I will bring up suggestions when I come up with good ones, and you can decide if they are of value or not. Thanks Vollmer!

Currently, there is a button that will take you to the last post. But, I will work on setting up a "to bottom" button also.

Sometimes that button takes me to the first post, sometimes the last unread, sometimes my last post,,, I haven't been able to figure out what I am doing wrong. This site is such a step up, like driving a Ferrari, I feel like I am grinding a few gears

Some learning curve to it ... it is supposed to remember what post you seen last, from previous visits. If you clear browser cache it will reset this tho.

On another site it automatically takes me to the last post I read with out clicking on a link

Made the "give reputation", "give infraction", and "report post" buttons more visible with images

Maybe I'm blind, but I do not see where the above images are located. I see the star for adding to the reputation which pops up for options on I approve or I disapprove not the + or -.


Also, regarding the reputation, I understand the concept but the only I way I have found to see the list of reps added, is when being notified of a new one posted. I can't seem to find any other spot to get back to the list.

According to the FAQ, there is postive, neutral and negative. With the pop up (star), You have I approve or disapprove. I'm sure the disapprove issues the negative rep, but the I approve - does that issue positive or neutral?
