1991 massive Halloween storm had us pheasant hunting in central nebraska,we didn't get the 30+ inches my home town got but 12"s,rained the day before then switched over to snow,teens for temps following day,birds grouped up and froze to death,we found dozens of froze pheasants, sharptail and quail,he stopped our hunt it was heart breaking except made for great coyote hunting.

When it comes to snowfall, why would anyone ever take the forecast out to 2 decimal places? I get it in that the given screenshot are from a numerical model, but that's clearly suggesting a level of certainty that is not realistic.
