I see no forecast for snow in the next ten days. That is for central N.D.

I'm thinking snow is having a prepanic panic attack on the thought of snow coming sometime in the near future. 🤔
Hey is it possible to have a prepanic panic attack?

Depends on which model one looks at. The GFS has a solid chance for snow next week across a pretty good chunk of the state. Especially the central part of the state. The ECMWF (European) is much drier and somewhat warmer.

It's that time of the year, but on this one the forecast out to 10 days is vastly different in the models, so one will have to wait until late this weekend before the models start coming together on what's going to take place next week.

Snodgrass talks about chances of snow. Two storms coming, first chance for us will be next week wednesday into Thursday. 2nd one coming is the end of October. Neither is certain, doesn't look like we'll get much but you never know. Some of the early models were kind of ugly but they keep changing.

I am very torn on this situation. I am still not over last winter and could really go for a very abnormally warm winter, like 50's all winter. However, I am starting to get a little excited about ice fishing.

I want just enough to move the birds down. Then nice enough to keep the water open till season is over. Then pile the snow up for next spring and sheet water in the spring for snow geese and full ponds.
