Drove past Cleveland, ND today and there was piles of snows. Tens of thousands on the lake just south of I94, and a half section all white a mile NE of the town.

Because Waterfowl hunters get into the most direct competition with each other to get the good spots so guys become territorial. That's why I like hunting water now so a person can get back to just hunting and haveing fun doing it instead of dealing with guys who think because they bought the most expensive decoys and the latest greatest calls they are guaranteed easy limits.

you do it all the time and its old. if a guy isnt finding deer in cattails. you are. if a guy hasnt seen alot of pheasants. you shot 3 with 1 shot 5 days in a row. if a guy shot a 33 inch moose. you know a guy who shot a 50. get my point. god man. maybe you do know more than most people but we dont need to hear it all the time

Speaking of deer tags you have any luck with your tribal tag yet?

I never got a tribal tag but some friends do and some good deer shot. Friend shot a 198 non typical on public land in corson county that's a state tag.

I almost froze to death this morning. -2 not counting wind. We didn't have much to shoot at. The dark geese landed a little east of where they were supposed to be. A handful of snows landed by the road and one pick-up stopped and popped. They got one. Good on them.
