Spare spools

Seems like the reels of yester-year always had a spare spool come with them. I wish they still did that because I could use a spare spool for a couple pflueger presidents I have. I found one website that has them for $23. I can't imagine the spool is a 1/3 of the cost of a new reel. Anyone else found them to be less expensive?

I have spares for my spares - and I STILL never have exactly what I want ready to go! aaarrrgggg

If I made your mind of money I'd buy something like that. You take all the laser spectrocolonoscopy work in the area.

then again, I'm never happy - even with nice reels and spares for my spares

ask wags and Ahab - they only fish with Captain Bitterman so they can marvel at his crustiness then go home thankful they aren't him
