Spinner Trolling Rods

I've got some cabela bucks to burn and I want to add a few rod/reels to use specifically for trolling bottom bouncers. Got any favorite set ups you recommend?

Go with a baitcast set up for trolling bottom bouncers. I like the Quantum Accurist reel with "Flipping Switch". It makes for easy one hand adjustment.

For rods, I like a 7'0" to 7'3" baitcasting rod in Medium to Medium Heavy action - just depends on the rod manufacture as they are all a bit different. Something like this:

This type of set up has worked for well for me over the years. Those rods will work with 1 ounce up to 2.5 ounce bottom bouncers without any issue.

baitcast set up,, the abu garcia black max or silver max have treated me well.

Really enjoy fishing an accurist on a 7ft medium lightning rod. They seem to load up nicely pulling ounce and a half bouncers.

I use baitcasters. Best spinner rod I ever had was a G-loomis I found on Ebay. I don't think they make that number anymore, but it was the best I've ever used pulling bb n spinners.
