Well I did have one wake me up from a little miday nap the other day. At first I was irritated at whoever the punk was that had the truck with the big pipes and then it dawned on me that wasn't a truck it was a Harley. So I smilled and went back to sleep. The sweet sounds of spring of migrating geese, American Robins at sunrise and Harley Davidsons taking to the road.

Speaking of robins, I saw several dozen here in Watford City about a week and a half ago.

This weeks weather isn't going to melt much around Bismarck. But next week may be another story. Last March it was 72 degrees on the 14th and 73 on the 15th.

took a trip to the washburn boat ramp on my way home form work yesterday. ramp is no doubt usable. little if any ice on the ramp itself. just my update for the die hard folks. this was as of 2-8-16

Yeah the forcast now looks like we will be making more ice then we loose through the weekend. Ice is currently backing up through town and is at the water treatment plant now. Next week looks to be a bad week for ice on the river and lakes out west.
