Im really interested in how the tailrace is doing from shore? I was down there about a month ago and am going to put up a belated fishing report but I am much more interested in whats going on in that area now. Im going down to riverdale august 16-17th for my birthday and I'm hoping the fish are ready to party!

I went on sunday night from 9pm-1am and not even a bite, pitched cranks on east side rocks and nothing. Then moved towards boat ramp and pitched cranks and still nothing. Then only thing i caught was probably West Nile.

sounds rough might have to check out some other spots in the area. still guna give the race a try right at dark atleast one night tho

I have been down there fishing from the east side rocks, throwing raps, the last 3 weekends. I usually catch about 3 fish from sunset till midnight, nothing huge, but nice eaters. Last weekend I caught a 17" with a SD tag in its lip, which is a first for me. I love to fish the tail race, you never know what you may hook into!
