I know its still pretty fresh out there for the information we are receiving about the attack but it looks as it will be ISIS again. What a bunch of pieces of excrement. I wonder what Obama and company won't do again or will say. Blame an assult truck. Just crazy. Hard to wrap your head around how f'd this world is becoming.

They keep blaming the wrong things and have not been taking action to stop these people. Time to nuke those pigs. Surveiling the mosks and other Isis sympathizers would help too.

Say what you will about the French, but we have a long history of keeping each other free. They just keep getting hit: Charloe Hebdo, the train attack (where American servicemen intervened), the 11/13 attacks, and now this. Jihadis keep hitting France. What's the goal here? Is it because France is the easiest target? Good recruiting ground? Or is it strategic - Jihadis hoping to take over France? Don't know the answer to this one...

I watched a piece on the muslim slums in France that would lead me to believe that it is a good recruiting ground. There is a significant population of muslims that were emigrated to France at a young age or are the 1st generation in their families that were born there, and they grew up in some pretty rough slums. Maybe not as bad as some areas of Chicago (AKA Chiraq), but along those same lines. Extreme poverty, high unemployment, very low optimism for an any kind of an improved future. Those areas are low hanging fruit for extremist crap.

The end result??? We have rules to follow, they don't. Puts us at a huge disadvantage. So things will continue to get worse. Same with the cop killing movement. Nothing and I mean nothing is being done to stop it. It to will get a lot worse. PC world we're living in.

The average person is sick of the people that is strangling this nation and France. We could take care of these terrorists in short order if not for the real problem which is this nation infected with the liberal virus. To bad we can't segregate this nation liberal/conservative. Then 99% of terrorist attacks would occur in the liberal areas.
I am sick of hearing we are all Americans, because liberals are more loyal to gay marriage, Muslim radicals, abortion etc than America. Sick suckers.

Medicaid for pt immigrants = corporate health care for emplyees= corporate health care. Policies supported by both parties

- - - Updated - - -

The terms liberal and conservative = words that both parties want u to believe in yet neither party practices what they preach they just want to get passed what they can so they get paid. Coruption

There is a plan. We will continue to give up liberties for security and end up with neither.

Unbelievable! Short do you have that much hate towards my generation which probably includes you parents. You seriosly need professional help.

I am a border line boom missed being a boom by one year; parents were born in depression era. I have no hate and you are correct Zog -- I probably do need help. So I was simply blaming the majority of what is running this country. I need to remove the term. Sorry if I offended anybody. My rant is deeper than a generation.

If this attack shows anything, it's that terrorists can and will be successful regardless of when, where or how they plan to execute an attack.

This may seem odd, but I honestly think the best course of action would be to have militia like we did back in the 1700s. Everyday Joe's who train occasionally and are armed and, at a moment's notice, will assemble to protect their community.

Not an Army, not a National Guard... private citizens who can come together armed and ready if and when there is an attack.

I don't consider myself an eccentric person, and I don't even have a CC permit. But terrorists prey on the week and defenseless. Since you can't expect everyone to be armed all the time (some simply refuse to own a gun, period) and the police and military are always a few steps behind, a militia is the next most obvious line of defense.

Heck, it might be enough to at least make terrorists think twice. A single man with a truck killed nearly 100 people during a peaceful national holiday celebration. One dude. It wasn't until he'd driven 3 miles that he was taken out by police.

15 years ago, hijackers brought down the World Trade Center buildings and killed nearly 3,000 people in the process with a few commercial airliners.

Think about that.

See: Switzerland. 'Purt near everyone is issued a weapon AND is required to know how to use it. There's a reason nobody messes w/The Swiss and that they're entrusted with public and private fortunes from all over the globe.

I'm waiting for the POTUS to blame us again, he always seems to. Speaking of boomers, the most critical poeple of boomers I have ever talked to were other boomers. A handful of years or so ago a construction guy from California(believe it or not) said something I might never forget both because it was funny and had a bit of truth to it. He said "Jesus Christ, it's like our parents worked so damn hard that we went and decided we deserved a lifetime off, pathetic." Now he was talking about the boomers but I think there is a pretty large, and getting larger, segment of the population doing the same thing.

Back to the subject though, things like this used to be met with horror then action. Had this been a few generations ago the 16-30 crowd would be flocking to the nearest country in the fight and join up. One because it was the right thing to do and there is no place for crap like that in civilization and two because it is a pretty good paying job. Now welfare pays better. We like to forget our history and believe that every time a scumbag starts killing people the US military jumps in to help. That's not the case, we were always drawn in, but our helping hands were moving full force. One of our biggest mistakes is when we told half the planet to disarm because we will defend them. We have plenty of examples of what "I'll take care of you." does to people right within our borders. This situation needs action and it needs to be all countries opposed to isis, al qaeda, etc.. to put out a real effort. Not just an empty hand in the air saying they want to be on the good side. Any country who refuses to actually help we stop doing business with and so does everyone else. No more business with scumbags period. I know that means our poor stock market will take a huge hit but it's time that ticker was based on something other than peoples feelings. When it is all said and done(not that things like that are ever fully done) those people get their countries back. Not after we put a government or a military ruling body it but after the people actually have ownership of their land. If we have to implement another 40 acres and a mule policy of sorts so be it but these people refuse to fight for themselves because they have no concept of what ownership is. It's time they learn and maybe they'll grow a pair and stand up for it. This includes mineral rights. I'm sorry the US thinks that oil should belong to our pool as well but that's part of the problem. Maybe it would help maybe not but I think as Americans we tend to point fingers and tell people what they should do when most of the world has no idea what being invested in ones own livelihood and opportunity means, it's time they have a chance to learn. All they know is rulers and force and kings and oppressive governments. People are much less likely to ruin the dirt under their own feet when they know that it belongs to them. Funny thing about our president is he seems to talk about civilized society in damn near every speech but he sure likes to make excuses for those who keep trying to blow it up.

The problem with these attacks is that they are so spread out throughout Europe and Asia that it is almost impossible to eliminate them. One area gets hit, they move to another area and imbed that location. Look at Iraq and Afghanistan, for instance. We depleted that place, I had a hand in that during the 03-10' timeframe. When we would go into an area and "free" them, the bad guys would simply uproot and move someplace else. The only way to really get them gone is to have every country that houses them, to take initiative to remove them forcibly. We can't use the nuclear option, the blast waves are so intense that more harm would be done than good.

Nail on head --- however a little more difficult to do -- -however if the theory is used --- no more immigrants from that area; root the ones that are not here legally and stop all trade with the middle east as a whole. Form an alliance with russia, china, europe and every other country that has had the terrorist issues not to practice any trade with the countries producing the terrorists. End of story. Live off our oil and Russia's --- life would be good ---- Drill baby drill.

I love the saying and meaning of either your with us or your against us.

Further more this entire racism crap has got to go away, be silenced by our leaders, not endeared and fanning of the flames, like he is doing now.

Agree..........

Also cut off every penny of foreign aid and close down every Embassy, bring them home. We can NOT fix our problems let alone try to fix things for countries that hate us.
