A few buddies and I are planning on getting out on Friday. Haven’t decided which lake to hit. Any word on ice conditions for lakes southern half of the state?

Haven't heard much about lakes in the southern half of the state. The temps for Thu and Fri look really warm...just hoping we don't lose much ice up here.

Can't believe you can't get access to shoot geese this time of year. Too bad really. Regarding ice this weekend: the only ice in my forecast is a lot of cubes and hopefully a jug of 18+ year single malt.

I think some landowners don’t want guys out hunting birds during deer season. It usually means a whole lot of gunfire noise. Not a big deal. There’s still time to collect some Canada poundage.

I'll be in a treestand tomorrow and Friday. Looks like maybe the boat needs to get used one last time as well. So many options! Who doesn't love fall in ND?

we have warmed up down this way and still have a deer tag to fill so we haven't even tried checking ice yet. The way the forecast looks its going to be a week or two so its deer then probably pheasants, maybe mix in some yotes that I have seen or heard in my deer area
