Putting a Lowrance Chirp Hook 5 on the console, gotta swap out transducers on the transom. I believe the old Lowrance bracket on the transom will fit the new transducer. Any advice or tricks of the trade are greatly appreciated...thanks gents!

I just swapped out Lowrance graphs and could use the same bracket. Just one bolt that holds the transducer to the bracket.

Thanks Rowdie...kinda what I was thinking looking at the bracket. You have any issues feeding the ducer cord through? Wondering if cutting the old one and tying to the new one might help?

I wouldn't cut the old one. Tie a parachute cord to the old plug, pull it through with the cord attached, tie the new plug to the cord, and pull it back.

If you want to save the old one, tape the plug end really well to a smallish piece of rope when you pull it back through. Then tape the new plug to the rope and pull it back up to the dash.
