What’s going on at Ft Peck?

I caught Cisco in both Douglas Bay and Government Bay last winter. They are in there and in decent numbers.

Yes there are Cisco in the entire system but they are only the primary forage on Ft. Peck. Why, i don't know but i assume it has to do with water temps. It looks like the 29 year old Salmon record just fell to a guy from Bismarck, notice the reasoning for the big fish in the system.

A guy on walleye central was saying that those fish were taken to a weigh boat and released. So those weren't converted weights from lengths, but ACTUAL weights.

All of the Peck tournaments are on a converted length to weight ratio. Many times when you see a weight sheet it shows the teams 5 longest fish for that day however some still just show the weight for each fish. Peck is producing monster fish but don't get confused because they are all length to weight. Just to clarify though they all go to a weight boat but that boat is measuring the fish and then releasing them just like they do in the Van Hook Classic. That is the format for all Peck events.
