What do you do to pay the bill

Since i can't find the thread already started which is a shame since some have me blocked but oh well what do our nda do to pay the bills.
I work for an asphalt company where I am in charge of testing the materials aggregate asphalt mix) that are used on a certain road project. We move around all summer paving roads across North Dakota and get laid off in the fall. If I'm not working in the company shop working on equipment I'm collecting unenjoyment.

Retired Registered Land Surveyor. Tech school grad. Worked 21 years in government last 25 in private practice. Loved going to work every day. Have/had a good 401k plus SS. Truly have been BLESSED.

, Former educator, retired. Work when called at a variety of jobs. Play quite a bit of golf, like to fish and hunt. Move to lake in summer. Live off of retirement and SS and sometimes dip into investments as well as farm income (rent).

Also follow a lot of HS athletics as was involved in coaching for more than 30 years. Am also a fan of Happy Hours.

I’ve seen the same. They figure retirement means do nothing. Big mistake. I try to keep busy at my own pace.
