1948 baby boomer hear, so I guess I have seen it all. Early 60 high school the low cut ass hanging jeans were in style for a couple weeks. High school principle would ask where your belt was only once and next time you walked around like Erkel with a little help from said principle. Different back then, yes sir and no mam respect was the norm.

Lincoln, kinda...
Jesus, you all make me feel like a stick in the mud.

No tats, girly jeans, dumb hair (well, just no hair), piercings, and my jeans only come down to expose my ass crack when working and I put forth considerable effort to minimize this. I guess I grew into adulthood in the 80s, most I had to deal with were the big hair girls and guys with mullets. Still know a few of each.

Someone get me a damn pacifier and pajama pants!

I remember giving my dad the raz about getting an ear pierced. He told me he would do it for me, just to let him know what number I wanted before going out to the barn. And that was the last time we had that conversation.

I gotta say though that some smart kids had like 100 band/debate/journalism whatever on their jackets - looked like military generals. They had my respect due to work ethic. When did they sleep?

Class of 70. I remember when an upper class student came to school without socks on. Oh the horrors of it all.

I did wear bell bottoms and bib overalls. No shoes, shirt or shorts.

Now I wear camo.

Yes we sewed on our wrestling medals, FFA, DECA first chair band and choir pins, captain of the football, wrestling baseball track golf under your name some put all the acheivmenets they earned. Like state champs all state football etc. Yes letterman jackets was a sign of pride and when your girl wears it that is just another trophy.
Also we learned that you had your pins glued or sewed on becuase the seniors would punch you on that letter and if you didn't have the pin sewed on it would stick you in your skin. Yeah it was great times
Also homecoming week your girl also wore your football game jersey at school

Drifting the high plains
homos screwed up rainbows for us too

- - - Updated - - -

the guy who started that rainbow = anal sex BS just died

No kidding. The first time I heard about rainbows was squirrel hunting. Guys who shoot the old muzzleloaders often named each others rifles. One day my buddy went five for five on head shots with his 50cal. The sun was low and every time he vaporized a squirrel head there was a nice little red rainbow. I said I am naming your rifle Rainbow Red. He said like he!! you are. Then he explained. It would have been a perfect name for that rifle.

Back in the 1950's we walked to the other side of the street if we seen guys dressed the way some guys on here are describing. We would not have known what was wrong with them, but it might be catchy.

A couple of years back, there was a new guy behind the counter at Ed's Bait. He had his hat on backwards, dinner plate earings, and pants down enuf to see 70% of his boxers. I guess I didn't really know what to say about that, but my friend asked him if he wanted to see his ass. The guy said no, and my friend told him he didn't want to see his either and to pull up his pants. The few old timers in the store started clapping, and he pulled up his pants.
