Unfortunately, I believe I'm what many would refer to as a millennial. Which isn't fair, as I believe I was right on the forefront of that generation and do NOT associate with them.

I'm in your same boat, Duck. Growing up in a rural area, I didnt get exposed to the "fads", and that didn't come until I started traveling for sports. Only good music to me is Waylon, chris ledoux, and George Strait. I'm disgusted with my "generation", and being generalized with them. UUFDAHH!

When did it become ok for a man to put earnings in both ears
One ear looks gay as hell, two looks like a d-bag, take your pick. Don't get me started on tongue piercings.

Yeah I will admit the cuffed pants was cool with no sock and boat shoes. Friend ship bracelets acid wash jeans with shot gun blast, girbuad jeans. Yeah fads are of the times but during the 90s some guys only had one while his girl had the other. I don't miss being a freshman and the swirly until I was a senior giving the swirly or the wedgy.

guy did you have the calf high tube socks with your school color?

of course

Converse high tops in school colors

bell bottoms and t-shirts

only girls wore hash jeans - in junior/senior year the super-stoners started to though cuz rock bands started to go "big hair"... i.e feminine with eye makeup etc.

gross

I think its those born from the early 80's to the late 90's. I unfortunately fall into the beginning of it.

guys were starting to cuff jeans etc. when I was in graduate school - I was stunned - walked around thinking "fag"... 'there's a fag"... "crazy - another fag" for about 6 weeks until I realized that 50% of the freshman were sporting a stunning new look regardless of their sexual oritentation

the cowboy kids gave me my sanity cuz they stayed true to their old school roots

It was discovered that Millennials, or members of Generation Y, are less likely to strongly identify with the generational term when compared to Generation X or to the baby boomers, with only 40% of those born between 1981–1997 identifying as part of the Millennial Generation.

Gym shorts/sweat pants depending on season and a baseball/wrestling/football camp/tournament t shirt. 99 out of a 100 days, that's what I'd be wearing.

On a creepy note; anyone see the direction womens bikinis are headed now days?

At some point in the early 90's I mused an earring and decided to discuss this ornamentation with the parents. Dad said, "Sure, you can have an earring, but I get to pierce it.". That was the end of that idea. Dad woulda pierced it with a dull paper punch or some other such device.

No piercings, no ink, and somehow I don't feel deprived. I do however feel deprived at having lost, never to be found again, my orange mirrored Gargoyles sunglasses. :(

My dad told me if I ever got my ear pierced he would rip it right out of my ear. I never really wanted an earring, just liked to poke the bear a bit, but I have no doubt he would have held to his word if I would have done it!
