Yeah, but I listened and enjoyed GN f'n R without breaking out any eyeshadow or trying to pull off a top hat.

I had a fleece top hat that I wore snowboarding. I think I still have it somewhere.

A pacifier? I'm sorry but that's just effed. As was stated earlier, a slap or a punch is definitely appropriate!

The only takeaway from this thread, for me, is that I should have been born a decade earlier. Pretty bummed I didn't get to witness the bra-less fad in high school.

But super low cut spaghetti strap tank tops were a thing. So we had that going for us. Which was nice.

I think the girls wore some pretty skanky stuff, too.

I remember once when one of our grandsons came to visit and he had his hat's bill cocked off to the side. He no sooner came into the front door and i grabbed that hat and formed the bill in a nice curved shape and set it back on his head and said you ain't black wear your hat like a man! He never wore it that way again.
I too can't stand those sumbitches that have their pants down to their knees and their damn underwear showing. Who the hell wants to look as some azz wipes underwear? If i were in high school now their pants and underwear would be down to their ankles when they walked by. Maybe that would teach them with a little embarrassment but maybe you can't embarrass them in todays world? :;:huh
Yep i was raised old school and i am who i am.
I tell people i am old enough ( in my 60's ) that i now say and do what is on my mind.

Duck what era you grow up in, let me guess early two thousand. That's when the thong song came out, when it's was cool for the girls to wear the thong straps high Or getting various body parts pierced like thier tongue.

Unfortunately, I believe I'm what many would refer to as a millennial. Which isn't fair, as I believe I was right on the forefront of that generation and do NOT associate with them.

I grew up at the beginning of the Internet. I remember when we switched from Apple computers with green screens in elementary school, to those first-generation CD roms. And our first "DVD" player actually used discs the size of records! Oh man, what technology!

I went from chalk boards and projectors, to white boards and computers by the time I graduated high school in 2002.

My favorite music consists of a mix of 90s grunge and early 2000s bands like System of Down, Rage Against the Machine, and Foo Fighters.

I'm also partial to 90s country music. I listen to 104.7 DUKE FM in Fargo during my evening drive. In the morning I listen to KFGO to catch some current events, weather and other news.

Yeah I will admit the cuffed pants was cool with no sock and boat shoes. Friend ship bracelets acid wash jeans with shot gun blast, girbuad jeans. Yeah fads are of the times but during the 90s some guys only had one while his girl had the other. I don't miss being a freshman and the swirly until I was a senior giving the swirly or the wedgy.
