Serious question: When you're in for a sniff of something hard to warm the belly on an extra cold day of fishing or after a particularly frigid ditch parrot hunt, what do you carry?

I've always been a beer guy, but my father-in-law got me hooked on brandy-Pepsis. Now, those aren't particularly flask friendly, and brandy solo is meh.

Just curious. I know if it's in flask form, most folks prefer vintage goods. But there was the time last fall at the pumpkin patch while I was chasing around my then-1-year-old and an acquaintance offered me a swig of his Fireball fifth. Thems was some num-nums.

And GO!

Ice Fishing and Fireball is like peanut butter and jelly. Never much of a hard alcohol guy except for vodka in my bloody's. I heard the Jack Daniels version of fireball is supposed to be good too.

Jameson on the rocks. Used to drink the 12 year, but it sounds like they quit making it, so I've been drinking their new Black Barrel. Mmmmm

blackberry brandy.

We used to drink BBB during State Hockey back in the 80's. Good stuff.

Not sure if they still make it but Rumplemin's was some POTENT stuff. Back in the day we would call it Rumple- stilt -sken's. You knew you had a shot of that stuff after drinking it.

Drink of choice is crown on the rocks or with a splash of water. Flask is usually filled with blackberry or peppermint.

I like to mix the water from a can of green beans with rootbeer schnapps.

Pendleton, blackberry brandy, burnt sugar, or peppermint depends on occasion and outside temp.
