Was there really a 2018 CWD culling event conducted by NDGF?

I’d like someone to fill me in on what occurred.

Was I out of country when it happened? I think I’d remember it being discussed.

Oh - I do recall they conducted a "sampling event".

I didn't recall that the deer were "taken by targeted removal" according to the news article.

That means culling was part of their intention - which I had not heard/read before - or I forgot.
