Williston's Menards is set to open...

The opening was delayed for a couple reasons. First they had a design change right before the scheduled opening so they delayed it to make the changes. They do this all the time. Secondly they had some issues with the floor not being to spec. not the first nor the last time that will happen. One of the others will probably close in town. And I think the Home Depot experiment is over

I wouldn't doubt that. Seems like the just figured sell as much wall making material as possible and then say the hell with the rest. Anything else you wanted it was just as big of a pain in the ass to drive to the nearest real Home Depot

Menards said to be opening a store here two or three years ago. Then it seemed like it wasn't going to happen because Menards was tight lipped about things. So Home Depot announced they were coming and opened this little store to get people acquainted with them. Then it was finally announced Menards was breaking ground and I think Home Depot decided they weren't going to butt heads with them again. I highly doubt you'll ever see them open a store here. At least not in the foreseeable future.
